Ukraine: The UN’s nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said Thursday that inspectors had arrived to inspect the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station in Ukraine. “Help protect the facility and minimise the possibility of a disaster from the war raging around it,” the IAEA says in its mission statement. The plant’s one operational reactor was shut down on Thursday as a result of shelling, according to a statement from Ukraine’s nuclear operator Energoatom.
