Shri Rajnath Singh stated that India is on the path to becoming a superpower. However, we are not able to reach our full potential due to some limitations. One of these limitations is drug addiction. Our country is not yet able to compete with developed countries despite all its strengths. This is because there are many, especially youth, who are addicted to drugs. The young of our nation hold the key to its future. They are the foundation of the country. Their future is easily predicted if their present is shaky. We must fight drugs as we did for Independence.

He advised them to learn about the dangers of drug abuse and how to access de-addiction centers set up by the Government in various locations. The cadets can then help others who want to get out of the grip of drugs. In a way, “our NCC Cadets are another avatar of our Armed Forces.” He asserted that NCC cadets should be involved in defending the country from foreign attackers if our soldiers are. could protect the country against internal enemies like drugs.
He stated that the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, with the active participation of NCC Cadets, is expected to take this Abhiyaan higher and reach its goal of Nasha Mukt Bharat.
Dr. Virendra Kumar, Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, called on the NCC cadets at the occasion to lead the drug de-addiction campaign and stated that it was their responsibility to assist the government and society in tackling this serious issue.
He stated, “I hope that we can make India drug-free with your cooperation.” He said that this revolution must not be stopped. It should gain more energy and should light the fire which will combat the vices associated with drug abuse.” Let’s make way for the victims.”
