Samantha Ruth Prabhu has recently travelled to the USA, triggering gossip columns. Rumours abound that she may have travelled abroad to receive treatment for a rare skin condition. She was said to have been hiding her medical condition behind her refusal to make public appearances. Samantha’s silence on social media has fueled rumours and many are left wondering, “What is Samantha doing?”
The only thing that seems to be true about Samantha’s health rumours is her recent trip to the USA. Mahendra, Samantha’s manager, denied the rumours when we reached him. He said that it was just gossip, but did not explain the nature of Samantha’s foreign trip.
Rumours suggest that Samantha’s travel abroad may have also delayed the production of Kushi. The industry source said that filming is continuing uninterrupted and they still plan to release the movie this Christmas.
Samantha has been riding the popularity wave since her performance in Oo Antava from the Telugu blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise went viral. Her performance as an LTTE operative on Amazon Prime Video’s series The Family Man season 2 has also been praised.
Samantha was last seen in the Tamil romance drama Kaathuvaakularendu Kaadhal. Vignesh Shivan directed the film, which also featured Vijay Sethupathi (writer) and Nayanthara as the lead. Now, she is waiting for Yashoda to be released. A teaser was released earlier, promising a unique, female-centric action movie with Samantha taking on the role of a pregnant lady.
