LEEARS: Due to a power outage, Leeds vs. Arsenal soccer was postponed for 38 minutes.

LEEARS – A power outage at Elland Road forced the suspension of Sunday’s Premier League match between Leeds United and league leaders Arsenal just after the game had begun. The contest eventually resumed after a 38-minute delay.

The referees’ communications systems were affected by the power outage, making it impossible for them to communicate with the VAR.

After ten minutes, the referee, to the booing of the stadium crowd, talked to the managers of both teams and requested them to return to the changing room.

With little over a minute left on the clock, electricity was restored, and the referee certified that goal-line technology and VAR were both operational.
