Presale tickets for Taylor Swift’s upcoming “ERAS” Tour 2020 kicked off on Nov. 1, with an announcement on Tuesday (Nov. 1). The announcement of this pop icon’s first official tour in nearly five years came shortly after months of speculation.
During a live appearance on Good Morning America, Taylor Swift shared plans for a swing through North America with her supporters, “After a very successful debut in the U.S., I decided it’s time we did a full North American leg of shows which will ensure that everyone who buys tickets knows they’re going to an actual tour and not an overpriced club or theater show,” Swift said. The tour schedule will kick off in North America on March 18 in Glendale, Ariz., and will hit several stadiums, then head to Europe in June and July. Further European dates will follow, with additional dates to be announced soon. Swift has partnered with Ticketmaster to provide markers for unsigned acts during the shows on her tour. Swift’s partners include announcing institutions Red Bull and Live Nation. Extended hour shows will ensure adequate time for Swift to perform the songs from Trainor and Lover that fulfilled her popularity Backstreets, an EP that prophesized a new year ahead for the artist that doesn’t usually produce music. Fans of the artist Swift that purchased concert tickets for the Lover Fest festival previously will have priority access for six shows in North America at venues in the United States and Canada to the tour featuring the same album that made her the first female music artist worth over $500 million.

Reputation was also the first album to go platinum eight times in a calendar year on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.
