The very gifted actor-director Revathy is presently wrapping up production on her highly anticipated directorial endeavor “Salaam Venky,” in which she will reconnect with Salman Khan, her first leading man in Hindi film.
Suresh Krishna adapted his own Telugu smash song, “Prema,” into the Hindi-language film “Love.” In the movie “Love,” Salman and Revathy played a pair of doomed lovers. Saathiya’s tune kya Kiya is still one of the most recognizable songs from the film. However, in the Hindi version, the song’s composition is attributed to Anand-Milind, even though it was done by Ilayaraja for the Telugu original.
After 31 years apart, Salman and Revathy are reuniting on the screen once again—just not as romantic leads. The next Maneesh Sharma film, “Tiger 3,” has a significant part for Revathy. The third installment of the “Tiger 3” franchise is scheduled for release in November 2023, with Revathy playing the role of Shenoy, the head of RAW, and a mentor to Salman.
Notably, Girish Karnad, who portrayed Shenoy twice, died suddenly shortly after filming ‘Tiger Zinda Hai. So that Revathy may play the part, the gender has been switched. Revathy clarifies his new role in the Tiger 3 cast: “I am replacing Girishji as the RAW chief.”
