The actor Ranveer Singh has said that Deepika Padukone is “extremely homebody and that she enjoys portraying the role of a housewife. Ranveer has recently said in an interview that he finds this about her “very adorable,” while also joking that she reminds him of “a small girl with a toy home.” The actor spoke about how much he and his wife enjoy spending time together in their freshly purchased home.
Four years after the couple tied the knot, reports surfaced that Ranveer had acquired a 119-crore Mumbai mansion in the early part of this year. Ranveer and Deepika began dating in 2012. They married in Lake Como, Italy, in November 2018. The duo has appeared in many movies together, including Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, and 83.
When asked about his career by Esquire, Ranveer responded, “My partner Deepika and I have just purchased our first home together.” After the wedding, I moved into her apartment, and that was almost four years ago. However, this is the first place we’ve ever lived together. Mainly because she has a lot on her plate, I have a lot on mine, and she makes a great home partner. She is the epitome of the “gharelu” [Hindi for “homebody”] stereotype. We seldom leave the house and prefer to spend our time together inside. Our new house is located a couple of hours outside of the city, where it is peaceful and private — ideal for us to spend some quality time together.”
And he went on to say “She’s put a lot of thought and effort into making it a beautiful home, and she takes great pride in showing it off. I like seeing her enthusiasm, which reminds me of a child’s, and I urge her to continue decorating. She is a creative chameleon who works in secret as an interior designer. I make fun of her by saying that she has a doll home and acts like a small kid. I think it really adorable that she enjoys role-playing as a housewife. So right now all I want to do is hang out with my wife at home.”
Ranveer also discussed the reasons behind his and Deepika’s chemistry. Both of them, he added, came from outside of the Hindi cinema business. They “both bonded via the rejections, the humiliations, the fight, the dependency on one’s loving family,” Ranveer said.

On December 23rd, the movie will finally be out in theatres. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar and starring Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi, is also in his possession.
With Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, Deepika will star in Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan. The official release date of the film is January 25, 2023. Deepika’s co-stars in Project K also include Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. Along with Hrithik Roshan, she has the upcoming film Fighter.
